Exxon New Jersey - (1973-1978)

Built in 1951 by Gulfport Shipbuilding Group of Port Arthur, Texas (hull # 383).
She was originally built as the tug Esso No. 12. Esso then renamed her the in 1955 Esso New Jersey
and then again renamed Exxon New Jersey in 1973. Reinauer acquired her from Exxon and renamed her
the Craig Reinauer. She worked out of New York for until she was transferred to the Boston Fuel Transport
fleet. After her service in Boston she was sold to Crosby Towboat and renamed CA Crosby. In 1992, Crosby
sold her to Bay State Towing and where she was renamed the Alex C.. She again sold as Alex C.. and
again as Co Draco.

EXXON NEW JERSEY
Built in 1951, by Gulfport Shipbuilding Group of Port Arthur, Texas (hull #383) as the Esso Tug No. 12. for Esso Shipping of Wilmington, Delaware.
In 1955, the tug was renamed as the Esso New Jersey.
In 1973, Esso Shipping became Exxon Shipping of Wilmington, Delaware. Where she was renamed as the Exxon New Jersey.
In 1980, the tug was acquired by Reinauer Transportation of Staten Island, New York. Where she was renamed as the Craig Reinauer. She worked out of New York until she was transferred to the Boston Fuel Transport fleet in Boston, Massachusetts.
She was later acquired by Crosby Towboat where she was renamed as the C.A. Crosby.
In 1992, the tug was acquired by Bay State Towing West Wareham, Massachusetts. Where she was renamed as the Alex C.
The tug was eventually acquired by Constellation Maritime of Boston, Massachusetts. Where she was renamed as the Draco.
In 2006, Constellation Maritime was acquired by Foss Maritime of Seattle, Washington and the tug was placed up for sale. She was acquired by Tucker Roy Marine Towing and Salvage of Mattapoisett, Massachusetts where she was renamed as the CO.
Powered by twelve cylindar GM Cleveland 12-278A diesel engine. She is a single screw tug rated at 2,850 horsepower.
