MORGAN REINAUER Built in 1981, by McDermott Shipyards of Amelia, Louisiana (hull #263) as the as the Elise M. for Poling Transportation Company of New York, New York. Exxon Shipping of Wilmington, Delaware chartered the tug from Poling Transportation and eventually purchased the tug. Where she was renamed as the Exxon Garden State. In 1994, she was acquired by Reinauer Transportation Companies of Staten Island, New York. Where she was renamed as the Morgan Reinauer. She is a twin screw tug rated at 3,900 horsepower. In 2004, the tug was fitted with an INTERcon coupler system. She was married to the second of Reinauer's first new 100,000 bbl double hulled barge series the RTC 101. The barge was constructed by SENESCO Marine of North Kingston, Rhode Island. (Info : Harold Tartell)
