Juni 1875 Stapellauf.
Juli 1875 von D. Marcy, Portsmouth, New Hampshire/USA als WILLIAM H. MARCY für D. Marcy & Co., Boston (USA) gebaut.
Am 7.2.1882 in London von Wilhelm A. Riedemann und Albt. Nie. Schütte & Sohn (je 50 %), Geestemünde (SSR Harburg) angekauft und in HUGO umbenannt.
Flaggenattest vom 7.2.1882 in London.
1887 Mgr. W. A. Reidemann.
Am 17.1.1889 an G. Ihlder, Bremerhaven, verkauft und 22.1.1889 registriert.
1890 an von Riegen & Stindt, Bremerhaven, verkauft (nicht im SSR).
27.1.1890 auf der Reise von Singapore nach Marseiile mit Katechou, Büffelhörner und Stuhlrohr bei Kelapa Point-Südküste von Sumatra gestrandet und wrack geworden.
Als Ursache wurde ein Umschlagen des Windes und zu dichte Landnähe beim Ankerwerfen festgestellt.
Das Schiff war mit 120.000 Mark in Bremen versichert.

July 1875 by D. Marcy, Portsmouth, New Hampshire / USA as WILLIAM H. MARCY for D. Marcy & Co., Boston (USA) built. On 7.2.1882 in London by Wilhelm A. Riedemann and Albt. Nie. Schutte &
Son (purchased 50% each), Geestemünde (SSR Harburg) and renamed HUGO.
Flag certificate dated 7.2.1882 in London.

Am 17.1. 1889 G. Ihlder, Bremerhaven, 22.1.1889 sold and registered.
In 1890 by squads & Stindt, Bremerhaven, not sold ( of SSR).
27.1.1890 on the journey from Singapore to Marseiile with Katechou, buffalo horns, and cane in Kelapa Point stranded on the south coast of Sumatra and wrecked.
As a cause, a reversal of the wind was given and she was too close proximity found in the country anchoring.
That ship was insured with 120,000 marks in Bremen.
