"Robert H. Colley" broke in two on Oct.4th during stormy weather. She was sunk, thereafter, by British escort ships. -- U-254 probably sank the abandoned drifting "Esso Wiilamsburg", which had been torpedoed by U-211 on Sep.23th and left behind burning.
