Esso Richmond (II) - (1942-1961)

The second "Esso Richmond" was build in 1942. Sold in 1961 as "Richmond". Sold in 1968 as "Transseneca".
Sold in 1970 as "Hongkong Beauty". Scrapped in Kaohsiung 05.1973.

Bill Wood wrote : In 1951, I was the electrician on board "Esso Richmond". Late one night we were proceeding
fully loaded up river to Baltimore when we collided with a tanker coming in the opposite direction. We had some
damage to the starboard after lower accommodation and spent a week in drydock in Baltimore doing
repairs. I made two photos taken in the drydock.
