Sold and renamed in 1991 as "Handil", scrapped at Sitalpur 15.10.1994.

Success in first attempt
With Refining‘s startup around the corner Process Controller Trainees are already gaining first hand experience in unloading oil tankers. With the assistance of Advisors Wang Foot Tsu, Kwik Wee Bing, Ong Beng Tit and Tan Keng Boon brought in the 20,000 ton ESSO PORT DICKSON on August 27 with a load of diesel oil. They also supervised the unloading operation which was directed by Mr. Wang. According to Jean Morrison. Marine Advisor, the other boys will also have the opportunity to direct similar operations in the near future. “I Will rotate them" he added.
The ESSO PORT DICKSON is the second tanker to bring in diesel fuel required for boiler startup. She discharged about 60,000 barrels of diesel Oil. Six-inch diameter lines were used for the discharge operation because the sophisticated unloading arms were not ready. When in full operation, the loading arms are capable of loading and unloading products at very rapid rates.
Mr. Morrison concluded: "I compliment Capt. F. C. Grey of the Port of Singapore Authority for his expertise in docking the ESSO
FORT DlCKSON. Our local boys did a line job in carrying out their part of the job."
