Dismantled 1966,  bow & cargo section joined to machinery section of SANTA HELENA
(built as GLACIER PARK , Kaiser) - sold for scrapping,   Machinery section joined to forebody of
SANTA HELENA  built 1953 as WAPELLO, joined by Bethlehem Steel, Key Highway Yard,
Baltimore, resulting vessel 17,614 grt,  597.4 x 84.4' delivered, 10/1966
1966 - OBSERVER   Marine Carriers Corp., New York     505883
Detained in Lake Timsah, 5 June 1967, by closure of the Suez Canal owing to Arab-Israeli conflict,
subsequently abandond to underwriters, voyage Galveston - Bombay, wheat,  released June 1975
and towed to Port Said, laid up.
1977 - Marine Shipping Corp., Port Said - floating grain storage [K. & E. Trading & Shipping, Inc., Miami]  Egypt
Sold End 1996.
