One of a number of Panama registered T2s, wich sailed in Bare-Boat Charter for the Standard Oil Co.

"Crown Point", owned by Allied-Ashland Tankers, Inc., Wilmington, Del., sailed in bare boat

charter for Standard Oil of New Jersey, during the 50's.

as "Crown Point" # 314, for U.M.S.C.

1948 - Independent Tankships, Inc., Wilmington, Del. [American Independent Oil Co., San Francisco]

1948 - Allied-Ashland Tankers, Inc., Wilmington, Del. [Ashland Oil & Refining Co., Inc., Ashland, Ky.]

1955 - GREENPOINT, Greenpoint Tankers, Inc., Wilmington, Del. [Circle Shipping Co., Inc., Long Island City, N.Y.]

1960 - TEXACO KANSAS, Texaco, Inc., Wilmington, Del., -lengthened and widened by addition of new forebody

built by Alabama DD. & SB. Co., Mobile, Ala., 09-1960, resulting vessel 14,153 grt, 549.0 x 78.6'

Broken up at Brownsville, Texas, 1984, by Consolidated Andy, Inc.,

arrived 18.12.1983 in tow, work began 01.02.1984.
