Launched as "Desdemona" in 1917, in service as "Chestnut Hill" for the US Government. Re-engined in 1927, 1D-10.
1927 as "Caliche" for Anglo-Chilean Consolidated Nitrate Corp., 1931 for Motorship Caliche Corp. In 1936 for the
American Petroleum Tpt., Corp., handed over in 1943 to the USSR as "Donbass". Returned in 1944 to US Government,
renamed as "Caliche". Sunk as a target 1947.
