Mobil Tern, ex. BERGE CAPTAIN 1976, ex. MYSELLA 1976
LOA 1067.1', Beam 155', Draught 62'2", 202,816 SDWT
Built 1970 by Netherland Shipbuilding, Amsterdam, Holland. Like MOBIL RAVEN this vessel was too large for the shipyard and locks. She was built in two sections and joined together once afloat. MOBIL TERN was powered by a Stal-Laval AP turbine unit which incorporated an epicyclic gear box developing 28,000 HP.
As MYSELLA, she grounded off Singapore and suffered heavy bottom damage. She was sold as BERGE CAPTAIN and immediately resold and delivered to Mobil Overseas Shipping Company as  MOBIL TERN, in June 1976 and traded until February 1978 when she was laid up at Eleusis Bay, Greece. She was delivered to Samarco in October 1978, was renamed SOLON and became ALAMAN in 1982.
Scrapped in 1983.
