under a Maritime Commission contract, at East Coast Shipyards Inc., Bayonne, NJ;
Launched, 4 January 1945;
Commissioned USS Waupaca (AOG-46), 9 February 1945;
Decommissioned, 26 March 1946;
Struck from the Naval Register, 1 May 1946;
Transferred to the Maritime Commission, (date unknown);
