The second "Stanvac Palembang", was build in 1945.

It was a very hot and hazy summer day, so a low quality photo.

Build January 1945 by Bethlehem Steel Shipyard, Sparrows Point, MD.,
as "Stanvac Palembang (II)" # 1681, for U.M.S.C.
1962 - GILIA, International Union Marine Corp., Monrovia, [Y. C. Cheng], LI, 1655
converted to bulk carrier and lengthened by replacement of bow and cargo section with new forebody built by
Nippon Kokan K.K., Tsurumi, fitted at Yokohama, resulting vessel 13,763 grt, 560.3 x 75.2' delivered. 11/1962
Broken up at Kaohsiung 1977 by Tung Ho Steel Enterprise Corp.,
arrived 11.04.1977, work began 14.05.1977.
