A rather old newsphoto of the "Weser Ore".
Text with photo : IRON GIANT BOARDING HUASCO.
This Liberian freighter, the "Weser Ore" ship, 335 meters long (almost two blocks long), embarked last Thursday at Huasco,
Chile, 260 thousand tons of iron concentrate, which that constitutes the single largest ore made in the country.
The iron will be transported to Hamburg. In 1987, the ports Compania Minera del Pacifico dispatched 101 ships
and carried more than 6 million tons of products to countries like Germany, Argentina, Japan and USA.
