Accommodation and life saving
The living quarters provide accommodation for 140 persons into eight executive cabins, twelve single bed cabins,
sixty double bed cabins. Support and safety systems are designed for 180 people including visitors.
The FPSO is equipped with:
__ Three totally enclosed motor driven freefall lifeboats (60 persons each) located on the aft part of the barge with smoke and gas-free access from the accommodationís muster area;
__ Two davit type totally enclosed motor driven lifeboats (32 persons each) located on the forward part of the vessel port and starboard sides;
__ Two fast evacuation systems equipped with inflatable life rafts located aft and forward.
General lay out
The general layout of the topsides is governed by safety considerations with the most hazardous equipment being
arranged away from the accommodation area (Figures A-2 and A-3). The topsides comprises a main process deck located 7m above the hullís upper deck and main systems arranged on three additional secondary levels.
