Delivery of Maersk Nova
On 6 August 2008, A.P. Moller Singapore’s new building M.T Maersk Nova (New Building Hull No. T3000-14) built at Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co. Ltd, China was delivered.
The 307,284 DWT Crude Tanker is the seventh in the series of N-Class series of vessels to be delivered to the A.P. Moller Singapore.
The vessel is fitted with Sulzer 7RT Flex 84T-D engine delivering 29,400 KW taking the vessel speed up to 16.4 Knots. Maersk Nova is about 321.69 meters long with a beam of 57.99 meters and a depth of 31 meters.
Maersk Nova is registered in Singapore and commanded by Captain Pankaj Kanwar, with Mr. Ashok Kumar Dandriyal as Chief Engineer on her maiden voyage.
