NEWPORT, R.I. -- February 4th -- HARD AGRUND -- The 556 foot tanker LOUISIANA GETTY was drown aground on Rode Island off Newport , R.I., Friday, just south of the Jamestown bridge at the entrance to Narragansett Bay, by gale 9 force winds.
