as "Santa Paula" # 2446, for Union Oil Co. of California, Los Angeles.
1955 - BRAZOS, Sabine Transportation Co., Inc., Baltimore, Md.
1958 - lengthened by Todd Shipyards Corp., Brooklyn, N.Y.  11,867 grt  545.0'
1967 - lengthened with new bow and cargo section by Newport News SB. & DD. Co. 13,903 grt, 555.9 x 74.2'
Sold around 1983 to U. S. Dept. of Transportation, laid up in reserve fleet,
reported sold 04.1991 to Mexican shipbreakers
Broken up at Tuxpan 1991 by Desguaces y Demeresa, work completed in 08.1991.
