 1944-07-06. Starboard side view of the American tanker "Vera Cruz".
She is armed with a 5 inch ggun aft and 2 3 inch AA guns forward.
4 20 mm Oerlikon AA guns are mounted in eacch of the amidships and after islands.
Note the spar decks constructed on the well decks to allow the carriage of deck cargo.
