contract (MC hull 790), 1 June 1943, at Todd-Galveston Dry Dock Inc., Galveston, TX.;
Launched, 21 December 1943;
Acquired by the Navy from the Maritime Commission, 5 August 1944;
Commissioned USS Sequatchie (AOG-21), 2 September 1944;
Decommissioned, 26 June 1946, at New Orleans, LA.;
Struck from the Naval Register, 15 August 1946;
Transferred to the Maritime Commission, 7 October 1946, for lay up in the National Defense
Reserve Fleet, Mobile, AL.;
Final Disposition, fate unknown.
