under a Maritime Commission contract, at East Coast Shipyard Inc., Bayonne, NJ;
Launched, 28 November 1942;
Reclassified, (AOG-18), 25 March 1943;
Commissioned USS Pasquotank (AOG-18), 26 August 1943;
Decommissioned, 27 March 1946;
Struck from the Naval Register, 1946;
Transferred to the Maritime Commission, for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet;
Final Disposition, served as SS Tongue River, for Unites States of America ( Dept. of Commerce ),
until scrapped in 1964.
