Acquired by the US Navy 18 May 1944;
Commissioned USS Ammonusuc (AOG-23), 19 May 1944, with a Coast Guard crew;
Decommissioned, 4 June 1946, at new Orleans, LA;
Struck from the Naval Register, 23 April 1947;
Transferred to the Maritime Commission, 9 March 1948;
Sold and refitted for merchant service;
Final Disposition, fate unknown.
