Third lengthening "Sasstown"
In March 1969 the "Sasstown", received a new midsection before the Bridge party, in her foreship.
This all was done at the N.D.S.M. shipyard at Amsterdam.
It was her third lengthening after the ones in 1953 and 1969.

The new mid section of the "Sasstown" is brought into the dry-dock.
The new mid section of the "Sasstown" is brought into the dry-dock, while the aft ship is seen in the back..
Here the aft ship is also brought into the dry-dock, on the right the fore ship.
