Withdrawn from reserve, activated and delivered to the Military Sea Transportation Service (MSTS), 19 August 1950, at New Orleans, LA.
Placed in service as USNS Piscataqua (T-AOG-80).
Placed out of service, date unknown Struck from the Naval Register, 1 May 1974
Transferred to the Maritime Administration (MARAD) for disposal Final Disposition, disposed of by MARAD sale, 22 January 1975.
Fate, scrapped at Hong Kong 02.1975.
