Delivered to the War Shipping Administration, 30 June 1946, for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, James River Group, Lee Hall, VA.

Acquired by T. J. Stevenson Co. under a General Agency Agreement, 12 January 1948, converted for dry cargo service and renamed SS Helen Stevenson
Sold to T.J. Stevenson Co., 18 February 1948
Sold to the University of Chicago in February 1957
Sold for foreign service in March 1957, reflagged Liberian, renamed SS Elderfields
Renamed SS Winner in 1961
Final Disposition, grounded during a typhoon off Wakanoura, Japan, severely damaged, regarded as unseaworthy,
scrapped locally in Japan in February 1966
