Commissioned USS Nanticoke (AOG-66), 1 September 1945, with a Coast Guard crew
Decommissioned, 23 January 1946, at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA.
Struck from the Naval Register, (date unknown)
Transferred to the Maritime Commission (date unknown) for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet
Sold for commercial service (date unknown) to American Petroleum Transport Corp., renamed Sugarland
Resold to the government of Argentina in 1946, renamed ARA Punta Delgada (B-16)
Final Disposition, disposed of by the Argentine Navy in 1984, fate unknown
