Esso Salisbury - (1957-1975)

The tanker third largest in the World....
... wich has been built at the Howaldtswerke in Hamburg, the 36,000 ton turbine tanker "Esso Salisbury" was launched on Saturday ( July 27, 1957 ). Only the two predessessers, the Onassis ships "Al Malik Saud al Awal", and "Tina Onassis" ( with 45,000 ton ) are larger. The "Esso Salibury" has a length of alltogether 691 feet: machine-capacity is 17,600 max; the speed 17 knots.
