Here are some on board pictures I took while sailing on the MOBIL ARCTIC, as third mate from Sept. 1974 to January 1975. We sailed from Paulsboro N.J. to load in Nigeria for a split discharge at Coryton UK and Europoort NL. Then to Ras Tanurah via the Cape to loaded for the U.S. Gulf to lighter and crew change.
We had a 24 hour break down in the South Atlantic and had to make a 3 day stop, anchored off Cape Town for repairs.
