Mobil Apex - (1960-1969)
ST. MOBIL APEX 12.755 grt. launched in 1960 for Mobil Tankships Ltd., London. Engined by Alexander Stephen & Sons Ltd.,
this ship was the second of a pair of sisterships built by the yard for Mobil. Sold and renamed POLLO after a fire on board in
1968, she later underwent various name changes and physical conversion to become the CIRON, as which she was deleted
from Lloyds Register in 1997 presumably now broken up.
