The vessel was powered by a Stal-Laval AP turbine unit which incorporated an epicyclic gear box developing 28,000HP. She was delivered to Mobil Overseas Shipping Company in July 1976 and time chartered to Petrofina in August 1976. In 1977 she was sold to Arabian International Maritime Company and renained AL QUASIM. Scrapped in 1983.
