"Aramis" was built in 1953 for Mazout-Transports, Havre.

Built 1953 as ARAMIS by Chantiers de L’Atlantique, St Nazaire, France, and delivered to Mobil Tankers Company (Liberia) Limited from Mobil Oil Francaise in November 1968, when she was renamed MOBIL RADIANT.
She was sold to Zodiac Shipping in April 1969 and renamed ZODIAC.
She became GALATZ in 1970 and then TIEN SHUN.
She was damaged by stranding in March 1971 and broken up.

14.04 1953 : launched and 1953 : completed by Chantiers de l'Atlantique (A 15), Saint Nazaire as ARAMIS for Mazout-Transports, Havre.
1956 owner restyled as Mobil Transports then in 1962 as Mobil Oil Francaise.
1968 sold to Mobil Tankers Co. (Limited), Liberia and renamed MOBIL RADIANT.
1970 sold to Zodiac Shipping Corp., Liberia and renamed ZODIAC.
1970 renamed GALATZ.
1970 sold to Tien Shung Nav. Co., Liberia and renamed TIEN SHUN.
13/14.03.1971 : Went aground near Ashod (Israël) during a storm after her anchors have dragged.
24.04.1971 :refloated.
03.03.1972 : arrived at Castellon (Spain) in tow from Piraeus for demolition.
• The names: PORTHOS, ATHOS and ARTAGNAN were the four musketeers, famous characters created by Alexandre Dumas.
• Sistership : Porthos (1) - (1954-1969).
Note;
13.03.1957 : ARAMIS takes first loading oil from the pipeline of Iraq Petroleum Company at Banias since its destruction in November 1956.
With her sister the PORTHOS will be exchanged in October 1968, against MOBIL replacement for larger tonnage and which will take again its name.
