Built October 1943 by Sun Shipbuilding Company, Chester, Pennsylvania,
as "Gaines Mill" # 337, for Chas. Kurz & Co., Inc. (Keystone Shipping Co.), Wilmington, Del..
1958 - lengthened by replacement of cargo section with new midbody built by
Alabama DD. & SB. Co., Mobile, resulting vessel 12,179 grt, 552.5 x 75.2', delivered 03/1958.
Capsized while in tow, south of Kaohsiung 25 July 1977, drove aground on Kaohsiung
harbour breakwater, arriving Kaohsiung in tow from San Francisco for scrapping,
wreck scrapped.
