Pendopo - (1930-1939)

 The "Pendopo" was build in 1930 for the N.K.T.V. (Nederlandsche Koloniale Tankvaart Mij.), 's Gravenhage.
1939 to the Royal Dutch Navy as "Tan 4".
2-3-1942 at the bay off Soerabaja, as auxilery Marine tanker "TAN 4", sunken by the crew.
31-7-1943 refloated by the Japanese Navy and sailed later as the "Eisho Maru"';
12-1-1945 Bombed and sunk after American airstrike near Cape Bataran.
"TAN 4" – Auxiliary Tanker (ex-merchantile Pendopo)
Date of loss – March 2nd, 1942
Reason – Scuttled at Soerabaja.
Salved by IJN as Eiho Maru. Later bombed and sunk by USN
aircraft of the coast of Indo-China on January 12th, 1945.
